Legal Framework

Belize’s public sector procurement is regulated by a set of legal instruments, primarily integrated into financial legislation that addresses public finance management, including public revenue and expenditure. These regulations are designed to ensure that goods, works, and services procured by government entities are acquired in a fair and cost-effective manner.
